Solution #2:
Also you may want to disable your firewall while logging in.  We have seen some reports of conflicts with Norton products.

Solution #3:
Make sure that you have Administrator rights to the machine you are installing on.

Solution #4:
If the control continuously fails to download and install, try the alternate download method here.

Problem: I enter my name, but then get an 'Unknown Error'
Solution:
This can happen if the security control is installed but only partially working. You may want to try to reinstall the control by performing the following steps:
  •  To uninstall the security control
    • click on the Tools...Internet Setting menu item
    • on the first tab, in the Temporary Internet Files group box, click on the Setting... button
    • click on the new dialog box's View Objects... button, a new window will popup listing all the controls that are installed.
    • find 'Token' in the right hand side and right-click on it. Choose the Remove menu in the resulting Popup menu.
    • close all the popup boxes and restart your browser
    • NOTE: you will need to re-install the control to login again
Problem: Someone else's name is in the Username box so I can't enter my username
Solution:
This can happen if someone else used your computer to sign in to the 'Site'.  Only ONE account can be accessed from any given computer.  If the computer is a public computer, it cannot be used.
